Aurora 1.0 requires a recent version of the Philips Hue bridge software.

When you launch Aurora, the app will automatically search for a Hue bridge. Once a bridge is detected, you’ll be asked to press the center button on the bridge to pair it with Aurora. Once your bridge has paired with Aurora you should see your bulbs appear.
In order for Aurora to work the best with your bridge, you’ll need to make sure your bridge is updated to the latest version of its firmware. Aurora will notify you if it detects that the bridge is using an older firmware version.
Make sure that your bridge is connected to your network and powered on. Make sure your phone is on your network.

The All Group contains all your bulbs and is automatically created for you as a quick way to start using Aurora. You can always rename it or edit the All Group.
To create a Group, tap on the add button (+) when viewing the Groups List. You’ll be able to name your new Group and give it a name. Tap the Done button (check) to create the Group, or the Cancel button (X) to exit.
To remove a Group, swipe on a Group in the Group List view to bring in a Delete button. Tap the Delete button to remove the Group.
To add or remove Lights in a Group, tap on the Edit button (pencil) while viewing a Group. You can select which Lights you want in the Group.
To edit the name of a Group, tap on the Group’s name in the header bar of that Group. When you’re done editing the name, tap the Done button on the keyboard or tap anywhere else on the screen.
To turn all the Lights in a Group on or off, tap on the Light circle cluster to the left of the Group name while in the Group List view.
To adjust the brightness of all the Lights in a Group, drag the Light circle cluster to the left of the Group name up or down while in the Group List view.
While in a Group view, tap the Scenes button (mountains) to bring up the Scene options. Select a scene and tap the Done (check) button to apply the Scene to your Lights. You can also tap the Cancel button (X) to exit the Scenes view.
You can also cycle through colors in a Scene by repeatedly tapping on the Scene.
To add a light, go into edit mode for a Group by tapping the pencil icon in the lower-left of the Group detail view. In edit mode, select the lights you'd like to add to the Group.
To edit the name of a Light, tap on the name of a Light in the Group view. Once in the Light view, tap on the name of the Light in the header to edit it. When you’re done editing the name, tap the Done button on the keyboard or tap anywhere else on the screen.
To edit the color of a Light, tap on the name of a Light in the Group view. Once in the Light view, you’ll see a color picker. You can toggle between a Color Spectrum and Color Temperature Spectrum to make a selection. Drag the Color Picker to highlight your color of choice. As you do, the header bar should change to reflect your newly selected color.
To turn a Light on or off, tap on the Light circle to the left of the Light name while in the Group view.
